I present to you this video from CNN. It is a quick watch but the basic idea of it is that the FDA allows that some snacks may contain bugs. This is because it may be beyond the control of some of those huge snack companies to prevent little critters from jumping or flying into your chocolate product. That is another reason to go paleo right? You will never know if the Snickers Bar that you are chewing on may contain some creepy crawlers. The video then explains that bugs provide more protein pound-for-pound compared to chicken. The video then visits an epic kitchen where they cook foods with bugs and poses the idea that since years ago we were fearful of eating raw fish that one day we may find it completely normal to find restaurants serving grasshoppers and crickets. That is why I pose to you some questions…Will you ever be introducing insects into your diet? What if it could help you PR Fran? Just some food for thought =P.
